Sherry, you seriously need a wake-up call, kindly swallow your false pride and see things for what they are for God’s sake! Seriously, Sherry is turning out to be completely different from what I thought he would be. While it is very normal for a man to feel inadequate if he cannot provide for his family, I cannot understand how Sherry could get his child killed and not feel inadequate about that? He obviously has a good deal of reasoning in his own head for what he did but he can’t seem to apply the same kind of reasoning to every other new development around him. After what happened in today’s episode and the previous one, I am justified in concluding that Sherry is not just egoistic but also a control freak, I wish someone would tell him he is not GOD. On the other hand Aabish, although she is the spoiled and rich one in the relationship has shown that she has a heart of gold. Even after everything that happened she managed to put it all behind her, as much as she possibly could, and wants a better life not just for herself but for everyone in the family. Why can’t Sherry appreciate the fact that Aabish did not decide to walk out on him now that she has the option or did not choose to move out alone with him? It is true that Aabish married Sherry out of her own free will but like she said for how long will she be made to suffer for making that decision?
Aabish decided to buy a house and a car with the money that her brother sent her. I couldn’t help but wonder though if you can afford all this and the lavish shopping with the amount that was sent to her. Oh well, I am going to skip that part since math is not my favorite subject! So, sherry and family move to a much better house and have a car to take them places but Sherry is too busy feeling inadequate to enjoy any of it and the two end up getting into arguments. It was nice to see Aabish take a stand for what she wanted and not yield to Sherry’s wishes like she did before, she obviously knows better now.
On the other side there was a lot of much needed development in the Basit-Zara track. Basit ends up in the hospital and when his mother finds out she decides to pay him a visit. Although Basit’s mother and Zara start off on a bitter note, soon enough the two were opening their hearts out to each other and Basit’s mother revealed the other side of the story. Basit’s opinion of his mother changes when he finds out the truth and I hope there are happy days ahead. The primary cause of Basit’s illness was how he felt about his mother and what he went through as a child, if that is resolved, he should be on the path to recovery and Zara may finally get what she deserves.
Overall, this was a very happening episode; apart from a few scenes that were stretched unnecessarily all was good.
