This tenth episode was extremely intense and moving, in my opinion this had to be the best one so far. Even though It has been an hour since i watched today’s show but I can still feel Aabish’s pain, I can’t even begin to imagine what a girl goes through when she has to lose her first baby out of no consent of her own. Until now whatever Aabish did to get or please Sherry was acceptable but I could never imagine that Aabish would let Sherry ‘blackmail’ her into doing all this. Sherry may have had a bad childhood because of lack of finances but I never imagined that he could be heartless enough to kill his first child. Sherry has always come across as a very sensitive person but what he did today totally changed my opinion of him. I must add here that an abortion costs a great deal, especially when it is illegal (meaning for no medical reasons), but Sherry managed to generate the resources to go ahead with it on urgent basis…Mr. Sherry I am utterly disappointed in you, you really need to set your priorities straight. Aabish’s brother offers to send her a big amount of money right after she aborts her baby for monetary reasons…how ironic. The question now is will Aabish manage to get over her child’s loss and the feeling of guilt? We will find out soon enough.

The mother-daughter reunion (even though it was on the phone) moved me to bits, it was brilliantly done and it came at the right moment. Ayesha Khan’s acting was top-notch and Rubina Ashraf yet again proved to be the great actress that she is. This particular scene was extremely well-done and it had to be the highlight of the show.

On a lighter note, Asma finally realized she was wrong and decided to apologize to Aabish. All the scenes with Aabish, Asma and Faiza today definitely had a great deal of cuteness about them and they put a smile on my face.

On the other side, Basit and Zara seem to be getting nowhere and Zara is expected to make all the compromises. In this particular situation, I blame Zara wholly. Holding on to Basit and leaving her parents for him is not going to do her any good, and it only takes a little common sense to figure that out but Zara seems to be lacking that. I must add here that so far, Zainab Qayuum’s acting has been far from impressive, she seems uncomfortable in her character and overall her performance leaves a lot to be desired.

To sum up, today’s episode had it all…the moments that make you go awww, those that make you smile and yes definitely the ones that make you cry. This was a very touching and a very well-directed episode. Ayesha Khan is surely the star of the show but I am glad that all the other characters around her are finally shaping up and making me relate to them. After today’s episode, I have a lot of expectations from this show and would not want to be disappointed.
